AZ CORPORATION COMMISSION
The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) is an organization most Arizona residents don’t think about much at all. But they should.
The ACC is made up of five elected statewide members. Currently, the ACC is made up of five Republicans. In the 2026 cycle there are two seats up for election. This gives Arizonans an opportunity to add balance to the commission so that it protects consumers, shareholders, and regulated industries.
The ACC has regulatory authority for utility services, railroad, and pipeline systems. It influences Arizona’s economy by managing the financial marketplace of Arizona through registration and oversight of securities, securities dealers and salespersons, and investment advisers and their representatives.
For too long the ACC has been a playground for Republicans and their dark money donors. They have shown voting preferences to corporate interests - above the interests of the Arizona consumers.
